Since 2017, Saarbrücken‘s unit has explored the monochromatic, minimal boundaries of the 80s-inspired post-punk and coldwave with an uncompromising, earnest DIY passion. “The Solution” lies repetitive skeletal blunt beats alongside a bleak pulsing bassline that heavily meanders to eternity, under sparse grumbling stabs of baleful guitar and flimsy frigid synth desolation, to surround haunted, pain-filled vocals, embodying the genuine dark emotional weight and visceral energy from the post-punk mystique, projected onto the disenchantment and resignation of our modern time.

The latest soul-stirring single, about a lonely robot who yearns to share his heart, drives a hypnotic tinny drum machine alongside wobbling, droning bass pulses, to interplay with icy glowing synth washes, shivering bittersweet melodies, and wistful, fearful vocals that turn to happy radiations when “I Can Transmit.”
