WL//WH Premiere: PALM GHOSTS’ Trippy Interrogation “A Limited Hang”

WL//WH Premiere Palm Ghosts

Born in Philadelphia in 2014 and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, shapeshifting indie rockers Palm Ghosts, made of Joseph Lekkas (Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards), Benjamin Douglas (Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards), and Walt Epting (Drums and Percussion), reveals a video for “A Limited Hang”, the fourth single released in 2026 following last year’s full-length, “Content Providers.”

This song is inspired by the true story of a government employee’s strange demise after being covertly given LSD at a work meeting. It’s a dialogue full of contradictory requests and expectations. An interrogation, perhaps from a trusted colleague, showing themselves to be a villain.

“A Limited Hang” dials up in dense floating realms of psychedelic angst, through a droning, kaleidoscopic swirl of propulsive drumming and sonorously pulsing, fuzz bass grooves, soaked in warm shimmering and warbling, tremolo-laden guitar layers woven with shivering keyboard swathes, surrounding aloof, gloomy male vocals, rising into anxious frustration, leaden with a sense of anger and confusion at the hands of villainous mind games.

In the paired video, an image of a person standing with slumped shoulders sets the front focal point for a shapeshifting backdrop cast in suggestive imagery. A combination of strategic coloring, a wet rain-splatter filter, and a low underground tunnel flow sets the stage for a wild ride of vivid, creepy, and distorted amalgamations. Tone cycles from dull black-and-white to blurry, surreal hues, and inverted x-ray, whilst the ‘wall’ farthest away from the individual shifts between two open windows and a closed door with a light shining from the other side, syncing seamlessly with the altered state of consciousness explored in the soundtrack.

Palm Ghosts’ new single, “A Limited Hang,” will be available on major streaming platforms from tomorrow,  April 24, 2026. Pre-save link
