Coppia, the Eskilstuna, Sweden-based Synth-Pop duo made of Louise & Peter Marchione, drops a video, directed by Coppia, and filmed by Michael Strandtoft, for their latest single “Modern Dancefloor,” via Modernshortcuts.

Clocked in a persistent state of melancholic euphoria, “Modern Dancefloor” drives crisp marching beats and sullen, droning bass throbs under a strobing and zipping canopy of brazen, towering synth riffs and lonely, icy stabs to swirl and buzz around gloomy, elated female vocals, exploring feelings of distrust, losing control, and pretending.
The paired video, directed by Coppia and filmed by Michael Strandtoft, shows the duo dance in plain black suits while DJ KMS plays “Modern Dancefloor” in a small garage warehouse under a reflective disco ball.
