Soft Glass is a US-based darkwave/synthwave project founded by K.M North, built from the collision of an underground punk ethos and a lifelong obsession with the shadows of 1980s post-punk.
Soft Glass has just dropped the new single “Death At The Discotheque” featuring Faith Graves on vocals, an electrifying mix of dance-ripe moody Darkwave and spooky RetroWave synth melodies, amidst deep stirring longing and modern appeal.
The track steers somber, obscure pathways of introspective emotions, steadily churned by urgent, tight, stomping drum patterns and rattling bass lines, topped by high, eerie synths, invoking a chilly, melancholic feeling of shadowy nostalgia around a male/female vocal interplay of urgent fear and visceral strain, joining together in a soaring, shaking release of pain and catharsis.
