Track Of The Day Ghost Patterns
London-based Psychedelic Shoegazers Ghost Patterns, made of vocalist/guitarist and songwriter Terry Hale and drummer/percussionist James Walker, announce the pre-order (LP/CD & Digital) of the upcoming sophomore album “Mirror Image,” due on November 20th, with the second single in a row, “Run.”

About being afraid of getting one’s heart broken through a lens of running away, the song builds dense, lambent blankets of reflective, atmospheric guitar sounds juxtaposed with swells of distortion that persistently penetrate and stride over a magnetic, emotive vocal delivery.
“Run” steers onward with a plodding contemplative motion over a sturdy, hypnotic foundation of steady drums and humming bass lines, bathed in simmering droning, fuzz-laden textures, as thick, loud layers of guitar reverberate in and out with aching high, slung wails, stretching and warping into a whirling tapestry of excruciating edge around dreamy, expansive male vocals, stuck in wistful longing and dread.
