WL//WH New Music: FRÄULEIN FRAUKE “X-Ray Love” (Music Video)

New Music  FRÄULEIN FRAUKE

Continue the Electro-Pop collaboration between the Swedish queen of burlesque, Fräulein Frauke, and singer and songwriter Jenny Gabrielsson Mare, one half of the Darkwave duo White Birches, whose debut single, “Resilience”, we featured last month.

This time, paired with a Bichard Studios Production music video by JP Bichard,  it’s the turn of the second single, “X-Ray Love”, a dance track inspired by Fräulein Frauke’s love and passion for space and science.

“X-Ray Love” is a vibrant, electrifying immersion that compels moody, humming bass lines of gloom and angst to join with nervous tapping beats, to throb and clap under layers of glittering, icy synth flutters, melancholic keys, and lonesome spacey drifts to surround smooth, airy layers of emotional female vulnerability, confessing feelings, through the body, to a lover’s touch.

The paired music video, a Bichard Studios Production by JP Bichard, shows Fräulein Frauke performing “X-Ray Love” while a modern-day cyber romance unfolds in the wings. Frauke dances in a burlesque gown and a sexy space costume whilst a robot played by Isabella Sjööns joins her. The styling by Frauke and Linda Lindgren is impeccable, and symbolic lighting combines with metallic details to seamlessly sync with the sentiments of the soundtrack.

Keep up with Fräulein Frauke:
