WAVES #520 has been broadcast on February 1st, 2026, at 20:00 on Radio Vibration and Radio Panik in Brussels, Belgium. ‘Special New Releases of this winter in Europe’ presented by Fernando Wax.

After a long, also challenging, break, the veteran Italian three-piece return with a new single “Stella”, where a post-punk pattern of driving rhythms, broody bass lines and epic evocative reverberations from ethereal piercing guitars, laced with trancey electronic undertones, blends effortlessly with the equally classic, passionate and nostalgic, poetic quality of the Neapolitan song. A romantic Neapolitan painting, depicted in the artwork, serves as a backdrop for intense tumult and doom, infiltrated by hope and painful emotions, to encompass soft, strained, tormented vocals, struggling in a sea of ​​fear while chasing a star that might hold a curse within the light.

A visceral and tightly wound brand of classic Post Punk from the new project of former Athenian Electro/EBM musician and Dystatik label owner. “Dazed” unrolls a driving prominent, gritty bassline menace that throbs seamlessly alongside a steady snappy drumming, pierced by alternating intervals of hypnotic glistening guitar slivers and swelling searing, jagged wails, ringing obsessively against restless, yearning male vocals, backed by whispery female echoes, with agitating levels of arousal and desire, “I see you in my sleep.”
