Video Of The Day  ANTIPOLE & PEDRO CODE

Antipole, the Norwegian Post-Punk guitarist and composer Karl Morten Dahl, in collaboration with the charismatic Portuguese dark crooner Pedro Code of IAMTHESHADOW,  rolls out a video for “Washed Away”, the defining song from the upcoming album,Future Echoes, that reveals its direction and atmosphere, scheduled for release on June 19th via Cold Transmission Music.

A song born somewhere between winter fading out and the first warm nights of spring and summer. Uptempo and dance-driven, but still carrying that underlying melancholy that always seems to find its way into Antipole.

“Washed Away” is a brooding yet cathartic emotional rush of melancholic, glistening guitar lines that reverberate, held aloft in the ether, overlaid with expansive glowing synths, fueled by the relentless drive of thumping beats and sullen bass pulses, to encompass sad, introspective male vocals painfully letting go of wasted time, to move calmly forward, “I will resign to my faith.”

For me, this track captures the essence of what Antipole has been about since the beginning — the tension between euphoria and sadness, movement and nostalgia, darkness and light. The feeling of running through city lights at 3 in the morning, while everything somehow feels both beautiful and lost at the same time.says Karl

In the paired visuals, a car drives along a street at night in accelerated time-lapse motion. Foggy conditions blur lights and alter perception as sharp and curvy turns taken alongside hills, storefronts, and bodies of water bring forth the surreal spectrum of feelings expressed by the soundtrack.

Antipole & Pedro Code‘s upcoming album, “Future Echoes,” will be released on Vinyl and CD via Cold Transmission Music on June 19th, 2026.
