Bogotà, Colombia electronic experimentalist CRRDR has consolidated a musical project from the aesthetics of Futurism and the sounds of Cyberpunk by entering an alternate dimension of time to see how society leads the world to its own destruction.
The 7-track EP was born as a critique of this culture and creates a gripping sci-fi story from a sound design precisely applied to the dystopian future found in the year 2805. Cyber-themes in each track include human slavery, crypto-currency, hackers, and subliminal electronic propaganda merged with the intoxicating sounds from EBM, Electro and Techno.
WL//WH is pleased to premiere the immersive sixth track Paraphernalia: “a set of instruments or devices that are needed for a specific purpose” in this case it is a reference to all the tracks together, which relate how this prospect of Futurism can bring humanity to an end, if the right decisions are not made.
Disconnected frequencies conceal miscommunication in the guise of flashing, droning textures, mind-blowing distortions, eminent pulsing danger of seismic bass vibrations, and dragging, punchy martial beats to replicate exotic cold-blooded synth strains into an eerie spiral of multi-dimensional alien atmospheres, drenched in 32GB effect-laden cyberpunk bliss.
CRRDR‘s 7-track “Anticyber” EP is due to be released, Digitally, on July 17, 2021, via Sonidos Subterraneos.
