A couple of intriguing lo-fi demos to foretaste an upcoming full-length from the Canadian minimal synth ace we have eagerly followed since his early outcomes on SoundCloud. “Catatonia” layers skeletal drum patterns and urgent, bouncy bass sequences beneath obsessive, crushed chiming synths, to desolately swirl beside a haunting, deadpan spoken-word baritone delivery with a melancholic tone, briefly rising to the edge of explosive anger, to explain an ancestry of blood and brokenness through the lens of fate.
