After the urgent and bouncing somber first single, Montreal gaze-postpunkers slow things down, jolting somberly over a pulsating seesaw drive of stark hypnotic drums along with ominously sonorous brooding bassline, to stretch into a bleak, barren landscape of eternal darkness lashed by shivering and echoing forlorn guitar wails, against slightly distorted, devotional haunting baritones, layered with a ghostly chorus, shrouded in hopelessness, fear and desire.

The track bubbles on a snappy and clattering drum programming, plucking synth swirls and glittering stabs, to ceaselessly churn forward, pierced by wistful ethereal guitars, amidst a kick-led epic build up of tension and release, together with haunted, aching vocals, turning to harsh, gnashing whispers, drowned in feelings of secrecy, wickedness, and pain.

A stripped-down yet extraordinarily intense and visceral single from New Jersey's dark post-punk four-piece fronted by vocalist Rachel Mackow.
