WL//WH Video Premiere INDOOR VOICES

Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and sound sculptor Jonathan Relph, under the Indoor Voices moniker, gives the second and final glimpse of the forthcoming album, “Terrors,” scheduled for release via Leeds, UK-based artist collective 1991 Recordings on August 31st.
WL//WH is very pleased to premiere the DIY video for the new single, “Various”, a collaborative effort with the added voice of Los Angeles‘ Hannah Montijo (Something Indigo), additional layers of dreamy guitars by Canadian musician James Callan (Prepare My Glider), and the bass of Clay Place Jones.

The song arouses a slow contemplation through seductive aural landscapes in which caressing feathery harmonic expanses and reiterative crystalline reverberations beautifully interplay, giving rise to imaginative transcendent visions filled with an arcane allure.
A peaceful, dreamy, lambent atmospheric flow, stirred by relaxed, steady percussion and deep humming bass pulses, that lies suspended and enveloped by the mellifluous trembling, oneiric reflections from an iridescent cloud, woven by persistent droning guitar melodies that ripple like water, shining smoothly outward, like cool, refreshing sunrays around layers of soft, radiant male and female vocals, joining wistful longing with gentle, fragile angst, to bring a sense of wholeness and comfort.
In the paired DIY visuals, a cloudy kaleidoscopic pattern spins atop an outdoor scene where Hannah walks unhurried but with purpose under inverted lighting. As the geometric overlay slowly spirals, it brings a dark teal color into the mix to illuminate distinct shapes and clarify an otherwise blurry, ghostly vision.
Keep up with Indoor Voices:
