The Italian synth-driven darkwave singer-songwriter from Rome, MYLLA ISSUES, unveils an Official Music Video directed by Simone Mancinelli shot at the Reload Speakeasy Gothic Club (Rome) for “R!ot Witch,” lifted from last June’s 12-track debut album “MY(Rage), via the Brazilian independent label Wave Records.
Dealing with an inner revolution, “R!ot Witch” casts a dangerous warbling and hypnotic electrifying groove of driving rolling bass lines and dashing beats to fuel confident, seductive female vocals that taunt, with a wickedly playful attitude, whilst an array of jagged explosive scattering of clashing and clanking industrial textures, alongside the emergence of a frantic squirming vibrant synth strain, attack and overwhelm with relentless, jarring frequencies.
In the visuals directed by Simone Mancinelli, Mylla Issues dresses in Gothic attire to provocatively pose under strobing lights at the Reload Speakeasy Gothic Club in Rome. An array of esoteric imagery joins with a grainy number sequence overlay and symbolic red and blue lighting to seamlessly bring forth the bewitching mindset of the soundtrack.
