The spellbinding Berlin-based LusoAmerican duo Velvet Kills made up of Susana Santos and Harris Iveson, have released last year their debut album “Mischievous Urges” via Unknown Pleasures Records, mixing 80’s dark post punk with danceable electro synth-punk.
And right at the latter belongs “Faster Speed Faster”, featured also on a 12″ EP on Oraculo Records, a mesmerising, glossy and gloomy slow -burner with oriental nuances, built on pulsating beats, sparkly hypnotic synths and magnified by the deep sultry Susana’s vocals of perturbing sensuality, simultaneously brooding and uplifting, enthralling and captivating, five and half minutes of erotically danceable trance-inducing darkwave bliss.
