Video Of The Day GREEN EERIE
GREEN EERIE is the new solo project of Cardiff, South Wales-based musician Adam Vaughan with the intent of exploring the space between pop sensibility and atmospheric production.
While the British artist is on the verge of dropping his second single “Magnolias,” next Friday, be sure to enjoy the DIY stop-motion Music Video by Adam Vaughan himself, with the assistance of Heulwen Vaughan, for his debut tune, “Stay With You,” released last September 23rd via Spirit Goth Records.
“Stay With You” arouses a melancholic yet forward-moving, uplifting immersion, stirred by crisp beats that trot alongside a gloomy, meandering bassline, to underlie echoing poignant layers of sharp, glistening guitar melodies, checkered by an edgier, hi-prickly swell, billowing bittersweet emotional vibrancy in constant harmony with anxious, dreamy vocals, tiredly trying to live in the moment in order to stay with a loved one.
A kaleidoscopic, thought-provoking stop-motion Music Video, created by Adam Vaughan with the stop-motion assistance of Heulwen Vaughan, sets a strategic array of symbolic images against expansive backdrops to bring forth the colors of the soundtrack. Just like a dream, skewed proportions of natural objects open the mind to unexpected perceptions where archetypal characters tell a human story swept in significant, soul-stirring insight.
