WL//WH is pleased to welcome the return of Dovglass, the Brazilian musician and producer who traverses the barbed-wired edges between EBM, Darkwave, and Industrial, to the blog for a premiere of the title track of the upcoming new EP, “Duas Cabeças.”
Hailing from Southern Brazil, he has developed a sonic language defined by visceral rhythms, dark textures, and an approach that bridges the tradition of Electronic Body Music with more contemporary electronic music landscapes.
With releases on international labels and appearances on compilations within the EBM/Industrial scene, Dovglass has steadily established a distinctive sonic identity in the circuit, exploring tension, repetition, weight, and atmosphere.
Now, the project presents “Duas Cabeças,” a new EP that opens a fresh chapter in this journey and deepens Dovglass’s exploration of the body, the machine, and electronic language, due out on September 11, 2026 via Santiago, Chile’s Revolte Records.
A stark, treacherous, tension-building looping floor of mechanical, hard stomping beats, with gravelly echoes, relentlessly pounds alongside an edgy bassline that oscillates with nervous, disconnected tendencies, layered with eerie desolate synth laments, subtly moaning around a thought-provoking conversation between low outlandish growls and rapid human spoken words, bringing forth painful feelings of melancholy and dread into a fading doom-laden haze.
Keep up with Dovglass:
