Since 2016 Patras-based, Greek darkwave duo, made of Konstantin (Vocals /Keys) and Dionisis (Guitar /Bass /Keys), have undertaken a long journey driven by a pure passion for a broad spectrum of Dark music from the ’80s, through 4 evocative studio albums and a Live EP, from the early self-productions to the well-deserved affiliation with the Cold Transmission label, in an increasing process of self-discovery and painstakingly sound refinement, as the latest single “Dying Light” clearly suggests, in anticipation from their forthcoming full-length LP, “Strangers,” scheduled to be released this Spring, accompanied by a haunting video directed by Irini Sina.
A helpless observer watches and distances themselves from a loved one as a dark force surrounds the other with pain and hopelessness.
Icy cold ominous cinematic moods layer punchy snares, unsteady taut low ends, lashing domains, high-flown sparkling synth sweeps, and sinister buzzing swarms into grey shape-shifting mists around haunted, angsty vocal melancholy, aching and longing for intimacy as separation sinks in.
A dramatic video by Irini Sina stars Silvia Maria Schwarz as a troubled soul whose urban night exploration leads to a face-off with her biggest fear. Spectacular city sprawls cast in eerie mirror reflections, backward flows of motion, and on point acting by Silvia sync seamlessly with the psychological nuances of the soundtrack to transform multiple personas into thought-provoking wisdom.
