Sweden’s The Secret French Postcards let out on February 2 their new Shadow single, a typical to their quality and style gem! The moniker from the north makes post-punk music and has already released a handful of singles since last August. Post-punk they say but they blend it quite often with some sort of very attractive synth-gazed/shoegaze oriented elements. And even though they may not use quite a lot of synths (or not at all) their music comes as a sui-genesis sonic and aesthetic portfolio. Shadow is a fantastic tune where they loaded all their fancies and skills offering a stunning single which swings between shoegaze and post-punk on a laid-back and dreamy plain. I said fancies…yea SFP music always goes along with their kinky and fetish front covers in all their maxis, so here’s the new one, listen and look!
