WL//WH Video Of The Day: OLGHA “Balla!”

Video Of The Day  OLGHA

Olgha, the Rome-based Minimal Synth solo project of the Italian-Polish musician Olgierd Ferenc, unveils a video by Hindele Zondervan for “Balla!”, the second single taken from a forthcoming November 2026 album, via Turin DIY label Stanze Fredde.

Balla!” is a bittersweet yet uplifting apocalyptic song about the end of a healing process wherein silence has arrived, hatred is gone, and wholeness is present.

A surreal dance rooted in nostalgic retro-futurist aesthetics, bounces urgently over mechanical up-tempo programmed beats, droning doom-laden bass throbs and anxious reedy synth spirals atop restless, declaiming male vocals, casting taunting echoes, amidst suggestive voice clips, into relentless swells of gloom and dread.

The paired visuals by Hindele Zondervan show Olgha dancing and holding a cool vintage keyboard in front of Berlin’s thought-provoking, Corbusierhaus architecture. The scenes shift from day to night as Olgha, dressed in a neat black outfit with a professional tie, uses his body, hands and lights and shadows to bring forth ideas of an emergency, and out-of-control tension, syncing seamlessly with the end-of-the-world dance theme of the soundtrack.

Keep up with Olgha
