Video Of The Day Heartracer
Named after a tachycardia diagnosis, Heartracer, the Richmond, Virginia-based alternative rock / synth-pop outfit, formed in 2012, made of brothers and founder members Chris Cosby (keyboards/lead vocals), and Chip Cosby (guitar/vocals), with the addition of Wes Tatum (Bass, Keyboards, Vocals), has unveiled the Official Music Video created by the Sunroom, for the band’s “Irish-American rock anthem” single “Streets of Dublin,” taken from the upcoming, more rock oriented, third studio album “Nighttime Fever,” due on next October 23.
A dynamic, vivid and soulful tapestry about a stumble, fall, and letting go, “Streets of Dublin” fleshes out a chugging drive of trotting mid-tempo drum beats, elastic bass throbs, and rapid acoustic scrapes, to carry spirited, nostalgic male vocals through a vibrant, eclectic realm made of uplifting Celtic pipe melodies, beautiful lush sparkling guitars, and jagged radiating riffs, building toward a jam-out interlude, accentuated by the passion of back-up falling cries, into a triumphant finale, “It’s all right, I don’t need it anymore.”
The Official Music Video by the Sunroom begins in black and white, with Chip Cosby sitting on the side of a goose pond whilst writing the song “Streets of Dublin”. Chris Cosby leads colorful flashbacks to Patrik Henry’s Pub & Grille, where a group of friends enjoy drinks and lively conversation, to give further insight into the lyrics while syncing seamlessly with the upbeat vibe of the soundtrack.
