The decade-long project led by Chase Morledge keeps on delivering familiar timeless Post-punk/Darkwave, deepened with heartfelt lyrics amid ethereal evocative resonant guitar flourishings and an organic, sombre melody-carrying pulsing bass line, to heighten shifting vocals of numb unenthusiastic pain, soft melancholic cries, and bulging spoken words in an imaginative depiction about feeling lost, alienated, and ‘Just Terrified’. Who cares, with such a string of impressive songs, if the elusive self-titled LP doesn’t yet exist, perhaps the tarot cards on the artwork could suggest it for us.
