Devine Noire is a German postwave/ synthpop duo from Bielefed comprised of Gina (lyrics & vocals) and Michael (synth programming & guitar).
I first noticed this group for an amazing cover of Direct Lines ‘The Electronic Circus’, the early 80’s project of the former Gary Numan’s band and Visage collaborator Chris Payne.
‘Ne pas oublier’ is a minimal, hazy pulsing cold minimal synth-laden gem propelled by amazingly hypnotic cold synth lines and fascinating Gina’s French vocals, the emotional and dark feel is everything electronic synth music should be, a very promising duo to ‘ne pas oublier’.
