‘All Alone ft. Paris Alexander’, from last November debut album “Northern Flux” by the Norwegian post-punk / coldwave one man band of Karl Morten Dahl, Antipole, gets the remix treatment by Kill Shelter, the post-punk/darkwave project of electronic producer and remixer Pete Burns (aka 8bitrage / The Zero Movement).
The Kill Shelter remix puts a darker, heavier twist on the well crafted original. The track is reimagined with a moody and haunting cinematic intro that steadily builds towards the main melodic theme underpinned by a strong driving drum track. The flanged and chorused guitars are overlaid with secondary guitar lines that work in harmony with the original creating an intense take on this contemporary post-punk/coldwave classic.
