Video Of The Day Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger!
TSTT (Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger), the Italian Shoegaze power trio, foretaste the January 2027 release of their fourth album, “Dissolve Here,” via the Italian label To Lose La Track, with the second excerpt, “Blurred,” paired with a kaleidoscopic performance video captured by Paolo Pinaglia and Denny Mosconi.
Founded in Foligno in 2006, the band, made up of Diego Masciotti (guitar, vocals), Maria Giovanna Vedovati (bass, vocals), and Nicola Vedovati (drums), shifts away from the spiky post-punk urgency of their earlier work, instead diving headfirst into a contemporary noisegaze landscape, with hints of Sonic Youth, DIIV, Nothing and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Encased in soaring guitar haze, the track delivers a swirly statement of personal dissolution surrounding the lyric “living a dream, inside my mind, that’s when I leave my shape behind.”

Straddling the boundaries between piercing, agonizing noise and shatteringly aching ecstatic momentum, “Blurred” teems with a weighty, pain-filled emotional aura locked into a heavy pounding backbone of a tight, syncopated thudding mid-tempo groove and sonorously gritty, gloomy bass lines, obsessively riven by excruciating high sweeps of sad, wailing guitar bleeds, laced with roaring outbursts of cold fuzz-laden fogs, to surround layers of sullen, fearful, and whispery vocals, quietly suffering under swells of loss and disconnection.
In the paired visuals by Paolo Pinaglia and Denny Mosconi, TSTT performs “Blurred” while hunched over in a tight crawl space to sync with the metaphysical aspect of the soundtrack. Strategic editing uses the darkness of the area, alongside time-lapsed overlays and red lighting to symbolically depict being in the uncomfortable, shadowy part of the mind and body, trying to heal and grow.

Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! (TSTT)’s new single, “Blurred,” is out today on the Italian underground champion label To Lose La Track. The fourth studio album, “Dissolve Here,” will follow early in the new year.
Keep up with Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger!:
