Formed in 2021, Bluhm is the home studio recording Dream Pop project of Michigan duo Claire Bluhm (vocals/guitar) and Cameron John Marion (multi-instrumentalist/producer), who make ‘synthy, emotional songs for late nights and long drives.’
The Detroit natives will return from a live performance hiatus on September 4, 2025 with a gig at Sanctuary in Detroit along with our old friends Waves Crashing, Cigarettes For Breakfast, and Melodic Canvas.
Until then, a music video for the dreamy new single “Touch Me” gives listeners a charming audiovisual Summer romance to heat up their playlists.
An intimate experience of sensual whispers, shared secrets, and honest feelings triggers sparkly, sun-dappled 80s-tinged guitar melodies to swirl gentle excitement through hopping, punchy beats and soft, trembling bass pulses while layers of airy, serene female vocals soar into elated cries shrouded in warm, bright haze of swaying vibrant emotions.
In the Music Video, colorful pink berries and aqua blue hues saturate the summer seaside, where Bluhm performs “Touch Me” in between carnival games, snow cones, and blissful beach expeditions. Be sure to watch the fanciful fuchsia clouds at the end of the clip as they surround a giant ray of light as it pierces the sun.
Keep up with BLUHM:
