Formed in the fall of 2016 in Portland, OR by veteran musicians/sound engineers David Gross (guitar, vocals, production), Joel Cox (bass), Marcus Knauer (drums, guitars, vocals, production) with the addiction of former Visiting Diplomats’ Michael Lynch (guitar), the emotionally-charged spacey shoegaze band Lost Echoes have just dropped their third 3-track EP “All My Heart”, ‘a prime example of the swirling, driving shoegaze sounds coming out of the Pacific Northwest’.
Title track “All My Heart” strikes the perfect balance between atmosphere and energy with a distinct post-punk edge.
Beautifully sparkling and hypnotic, reverberating guitar notes soar with restrained intensity, pervaded by spacious icy synth, and coalesce seamlessly with deep dense bass and robust, tight drums, relentlessly pulsing in unison to build a vigorous yet immersive hazy spine for ecstatic echoing vocals laced with love, willingness, and suffering.
Fiercely passionate and profoundly riveting, “All My Heart” will hopelessly grab you from the very beginning.
Keep up with Lost Echoes:
