Staples of the so-called “Italogaze” scene since 2007, Milan-based veterans In Her Eye return with “Emma,” the second single from their forthcoming fourth studio album, “Death in a Morning Show”.

In Her Eye continue to shape their own musical language, developing a sound that brings together British alternative influences and a distinctly personal melodic sensibility.

The power trio, made up of drummer Aldo Bernuzzi (also with Stella Diana), vocalist/bassist Giuseppe Galotti, and guitarist Stefano Schiavella, reaches far beyond their familiar Shoegaze, infused with Post-punk and New Wave, territories, sprawling out in energetic, gritty and straightforward rock’n’roll detours, bursting with elements of Garage, Psych, and scratchy Noise.

A song about desire and pleasure. “Emma” unravels an incessant, busy drive of shuffling drum beats and sludgy bass lines, fueling a heavy crush of abrasive guitar riffs, flipping between groovy, jagged fuzz and strained, pointed ringing that resonates and swerves with squealing, excruciating intensity atop restless, soulful male vocals, urgently yearning to blow the mind of another.
