WL//WH Video Of The Day: YAKIMA JERA “Felt Love” (Official Video)

Video Of The Day YAKIMA JERA

Yakima Jera, the Munich-based danceable Minimal Coldwave duo of Simon and Kara, return to WL//WH with an Official Video for the latest single “Felt Love”, giving us a last glimpse into the forthcoming 8-track debut album, “Azrael Take My Hand”, due out on April 29, 2024 via Young and Cold Records.

In the first half of 2024 we will release our next album, we will play at occult music festivals and it will be a great year of travel, in which Yakima Jera will briefly submerge and reappear with fresh magick from dark seas, with black wings, epic fires and always firmly rooted into the ground.

A song about a deep impression of love, “Felt Love”  bounces its way through an insistent driving resonant throbbing bass line punctuated by steady punchy beats, in a sprawling maze of dim distorted buzzing synth strains and frenzied shivering cries, to underlie urgent yet restrained raw spoken words, erupting into catty shrieks, with immersive and stimulating intimacy.

Unexpectedly, an adorable teddy costume takes centre stage in the visuals to sync with the nostalgia of the soundtrack. Watch as a cuddly bear enjoys listening to records, dancing in the streets, and even playing a mini keyboard against an evocative urban backdrop.

Yakima Jera‘s debut album, “Azrael Take My Hand”, is scheduled to be released, on dark-green Vinyl 12″ LP and Digital, on Friday 29th April via Young and Cold Records.
