Video Of The Day GREY CAUSEWAY
Grey Causeway, the veteran Bay Area, Oakland, California-based Post Punk unit, made of Andy Asp (vocals, guitar, percussion), Omen Starr (guitars, keys), Frankie Koeller (bass, keys), and Chris Appelgren (drums), drops an Official Music Video for “I-580”, the first single from the upcoming self-titled debut album, “Grey Causeway,” available on vinyl and streaming May 27th via Dandy Boy Records (in association with MOUTH).
Energetic blast of buzzy power-pop melodicism and moody post-punk grit with an edgy punk intensity that rambles on holiday memories, propels hard-hitting, racing drum beats, taut nervous bass lines, and sharp, jagged, jangling guitar riffs, to carry powerful, scruffy vocals, contorting and crooning with high energy nostalgic devotion, through the vibrant repetitious vibrations inspired by “I-580.”
Vintage black and white imagery of San Francisco sets the sentimental backdrop for Grey Causeway as they perform “I-580” in sync with the soundtrack. Psychedelic overlays blend with historic earth quake footage and the seven Moai statues of Ahu Akivi (Easter Island), giving reverence to the past and its influence on our present time.
Grey Causeway’s self-titled debut will be released on Vinyl 12″ and Digital formats, on May 27th via Dandy Boy Records (in association with MOUTH).
