Longstanding German electro-industrial pioneer act based in Münster, X Marks The Pedwalk, comprised of mastermind musician and co-founder Sevren Ni-Arb and vocal artist Estefanía, celebrate the fresh release of their eleventh full-length album, “NEW/END” via their own label Meshwork Music, with a breath-taking video for the fifth track “Sacred Ground.”
“Sacred Ground” invokes a more melancholic, mournful vibe than the previous song “Sailors at Dawn”, we featured last May, to channel the sometimes low vibrations experienced by leaving the past behind during a personal quest toward enlightenment.
Alluring, engaging auras weave loose warbling bass tones, slow skipping and dragging beats, and poignant, somber synth strains into an airy, wavy dancing tapestry of dim-lit hope to carry sad, emotional breathless wishes through the self-defeating pain of aching memories into a glowing constellation of burgeoning dreams.
A ghostly enchanted forest sets the stage for a tragic beauty to shed her difficult past while transcending to a higher realm of metaphysical consciousness. White fog strewn panoramic views, eerie shadowy silhouettes, and spirit animal manifestations transport the mind’s eye of intuition into a spiritual realm of soul searching capabilities to learn, grow, and heal from our ancient ancestor’s “Sacred Ground.” Fiery sunsets, misty mountain tops, and Psychedelic portals open rigid doorways of perception to release fear and shame from a subconscious well of inner demons whilst allowing for a cathartic transcendence into wisdom and love.
X MARKS THE PEDWALK‘s 11th album, “NEW/END”, is due out, on CD & Digital, via the band’s own Meshwork Music,
