Renowned for his work as the lead singer and songwriter of the Swedish nuanced Post-punk band Principe Valiente, Fernando Honorato embarks on a deeply personal and introspective journey with his new solo single, “A Million Times,” the first glimpse into Honorato’s highly anticipated upcoming album via Aenaos Records, showcasing a raw and intimate side of his artistry, to expand his signature dreamy, post-punk-infused aesthetic into new emotional territories, promising an album that will be both immersive and thought-provoking.
With its evocative instrumentation and heartfelt lyricism, the track resonates as both a lament and a beacon of hope. While it acknowledges the difficulty of breaking free from ingrained patterns, it also encourages movement toward growth and transformation. Fernando’s hauntingly gentle yet powerful vocals guide listeners through a soundscape that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Clattering, driving drum patterns and ominous churning bass lines, unremittingly pound and rumble, underlying a simmering aching haze of subtly reverb-heavy guitar distortion and epic soaring synth glows, to crank-up the emotional weight around soul-stirring vocals, alternating spiritual pain, with gloomy broods and distant falling cries, to express the overwhelming feeling of frustration and wanting to give up during a visceral transformative journey.
The Music Video directed by Damón Zurawski (Future Legends Films) shows Fernando Honorato performing “A Million Times” with heartfelt intensity under the dim blurry lights of a city street to sync with the introspective shades of the soundtrack. The creative use of editing and overlays brings forth the inner struggle of the lyrics whilst giving viewers some uplifting glimmers of hope in the darkness.
