Track Of The Day TWIRLIES
Hailing from Fredrikstad, Twirlies is made of Christoffer (previously of Remington Super 60), Sara, and Sigurd, who came together during a silkscreen printing course. What began as a visual art collaboration quickly evolved into a musical journey, sparked by the creation of an album cover long before a single note was written.
The band delivers a sweetly nostalgic, relaxing yet vibrant acoustic-driven Folk-Indie Pop, laced with a breezy 60s flair and a warm, infectious appeal.
Following the well-received debut single “Think That I’m In Love”, the Norwegian indie trio are back with a brand new track, “Wait Until Tomorrow,” via Christoffer Schou‘s own DIY label Cafe Superstar Recordings.
A second outing, even more on tiptoe and immersive than the first outset, stirred by charming wistful, introspective harmonies from male/female energies, swaying with winsome twinkling, jangly guitar melodies, wispy sad keyboard glimmers and barely perceptible percussions, to softly sing and hum about the fear, conflict and hesitation that occurs during difficult relationship times.
