WL//WH Track Of The Day: NOSSIENNES “Solar Transit”

WL//WH Track Of The Day  Nossiennes

Bristol, UK Kraut-driven, mind-expanding sonic wanderers Nossiennes return with the first single, titled “Solar Transit”, from the upcoming new album “Water from the Sun”.

The three piece, made up of George Simpson (guitar, vocals, cello), Oliver Hurley (bass) and James Garvey (drums), wiggles through a heady mix of Krautrock, Shoegaze, Post-Rock and Psychedelia, diving deep into the outer realms of perception.

Equal parts propulsive and atmospheric, “Solar Transit” stretches all the way through racing motorik drums that pound with jostling urgency, alongside churning bass lines, and overflowing, rushing washes of wheezing, fuzzed out guitar distortion, jagging and ominously swirling with a roaring and blustery momentum against ecstatic, devotional vocals, gently falling and radiating, to become engulfed in a sweeping misty vortex of jarring chaos.

Keep up with Nossiennes:
