Fresh from the release of their 10-track debut album, “Acmé”, via the German independent label Cold Transmission Music, a seamless ecstatic and intoxicating fusion of cutting-edge dancefloor club energy, dark EBM rawness and emotionally ridden Synthpop melodicism, to provoke a heady seduction for body and mind, the enigmatic Hamburg-based Swiss–German duo shares an Official Music Video for its fourth song “Opaque Couché”.

With “Opaque Couché”, SIIE sketches the outline of days that drift — quiet, indistinct, yet quietly charged. It’s a meditation on inertia and the subtle effort of remaining present when nothing seems to move. The track weaves softness with a muted unease, evoking that suspended state between calm and unrest — where stillness turns into its own kind of tension.

The stirring and atmospheric “Opaque Couché” radiates vibrant, twinkling echoes of wistful bright chimes, seamlessly shifting from calm to excited, atop a swelling buzzing bed of doom-laden low ends, stabbed by metronomic lashing beats, while cool immersive glowing synths enshroud sad, anxious female spoken words in shivering waves of uplifting longing.

Set on a near-empty beach, the accompanying video follows a solitary figure through shifting light and silence. As the sun sinks, the landscape transforms — becoming a quiet metaphor for changing moods, for moments that feel both weightless and full.

In the DIY Official Music Video, a woman walks alone down the beach from sunrise to sunset to spend some introspective time feeling the comfort of the sun, sea, air, and sand. When the explorer takes off her faux fur, pink hoodie and stretches toward the sky, you can almost see the stress seep from her body into the natural ebb of the tide.
