Oh Madonna, the up-and-coming Synth-driven Gothic Retro-Romantic duo from Mannheim, Germany, rolls out a DIY Official Video for “Rosemary”, the follow-up to their debut single “Touch” via Cold Transmission Music, WL//WH is pleased to premiere.

“Rosemary” instigates dark, nostalgic, and dissociative red/black lush dancefloor compulsions, driven by relentless clattering and thudding drum patterns, along with bouncing, buzzy bass lines, layered with teasing ghostly, vaporous echoes and intervals of icy melancholic synth stabs, while cold alluring male/female vocals, reveal, “God is dead, I believe in myself instead”, into a chilly emergence of slivering mists and bewitching whispers.
The DIY Official Video uses crafty collage overlays, strobing lights, and blood red script to surround Oh Madonna as they slowly dance and pose in sync with the soundtrack. Images of roses, a cross, and the Madonna herself lie in contrast to the gothic styling of Alisha Soraya to bring forth the fascinating fright concept of the homage.
Keep up with Oh Madonna:
