“Trapped somewhere between despair, love, hate & ecstasy”, the enigmatic US Post Punk / Coldwave solo project KNOWNPLEASURES is due to release the single, “Feel”, on December 3rd, WL//WH is pleased to premiere.
The Synth-driven song is dedicated to people who have found their way out of indoctrination, through a lens of worshipping the wrong god, atheism, and a careless world.
Imbued in a surreal, disconnected, and introspective aura, “Feel” provokes shining icy synth flares to desperately swirl atop hypnotic muffled drum machine thumps and tight pulsing buzzy low ends, while distorted, angry vocals rant, as if submerged in an abyss, under an anxious shivering sky filled with dire melancholy.
