  • TREMOLO: 2025 Playlist

Once again, WL//WH is thrilled to support Seattle‘s  Tremolo Fest 2025, three nights of electrifying music with incredible bands on September 25-27. Tickets are already on pre-sale, just follow this link.

  • Sydney (Eora), Australian alt-rock /shoegaze band ADORER “Underdog” single

Compelling, sweeping, highly emotional Shoegaze from Down Under. Yearning for inspiration, urgent, scruffy and impassioned vocals layer with emotional back-ups to vibrate and quiver over bustling drums that fuel meandering and churning overflows of abrasive, fuzzed-out guitar riffs, dense rumbling strokes of distortion, and rippling, high-pitched expanses, creating a heady, engulfing headspace of poignant, noisy seduction.

  • French shoegaze /dream-pop /Britpop /indie pop musician and composer Thierry Haliniak (of trio Meyverlin), My Raining Stars “Gaping Wound” from “Helpless / Gaping Wound” 2-track single (outtakes from the Momentum album sessions)

Two moody, contemplative outtakes from the last album sessions that certainly would not have been out of place if included. We fancy straightaway the real tearjerker “Gaping Wound”, about the eternal confusion, shock, and darkness left behind by a broken loved one, with its smoothly crisp shuffling drum patterns, hypnotic buzzy shoegaze textures and jangling, echoing wistful guitar melodies that achingly linger and vibrate around sad, regretful, heartbroken vocals.

  • Belfast, UK alt-rock /heavy shoegaze solo project from Virgins‘ guitarist/songwriter, Michael Smyth, aka SILK “July” single

In his third single, the Belfast musician blends “ethereal textures of shoegaze with a 90s alternative rock punchiness”, sweeping us away with a vibrant, blurry yet poignant downpour of glistening, shimmery guitars, blissed out in reverb, softly bursting and rushingly cascading over hard trudging drum beats and heavy bass throbs, to invigorate dreamy, emotional vocals, adrift in the nagging wistfulness of subtle betrayals, with a frothing fuzz-laden catharsis.
