WL//WH Track Of The Day : AFTER L’AMOUR “Fiasco Hotel”

Track Of The Day

Hailing from Paris, the production duo of Jezekaël and Premier Rang, after the depature of Julien Barthe (aka Plaisir de France), under the moniker of After L’Amour, have just released the 3-track EP “Fiasco Hotel”.

Lustful and hypnotic dance electro rhythms and bits of moody early 80’s new wave spice-up by the timeless sensual charm of the ‘chanson francaise’, the same intriguing and deadly ingredients that denote the alluring appeal of French electro-pop since the late 70’s/early 80’s.

Lustful and hypnotic dance electro rhythms and bits of moody early 80’s new wave, spiced-up by the timeless sensual charm of the ‘chanson francaise’, give rise to the same intriguing and deadly ingredients that made the distinctive arousing appeal of French electro-pop Elli et Jacno, Ruth tantamount.

Murky and melancholic, haunting and seductive the title track is propelled by slashing repetitive beats and mesmerizing basslines, interspersed with echoing chiming guitar chords that underline the enticing, sexy, and teasing, at the same time sharp, concise, detached voice dealing with themes of obsession, sensuality, pleasure and pain while penetrating icy synth hardened the obsessive, ritualistic, uncomfortable and dangerous atmosphere of ‘carnal pleasure’ not of the faint-hearted.

Dance hard and check in to the “Fiasco Hotel”.

Few days ago has also been shared the video for the more atmospheric but equally persuasive and danceable “Respire”. Enjoy!
