The enigmatic Athenian act returns with a second EP, titled with a SKU code, that fuses urban poetry with abrasive, visceral electronics, dancing along the edge between stark electro-punk, old-school industrial clangor, and wiry synth-laden post-punk. Since its outset, the four tracks throb and roll down a desolate and stark concrete grey drive of stomping mechanical rhythmic patterns with implacable rattling steadfastness, woven with lacerating and oppressive frigid synth menace, and ghostly, groveling spoken words of hopeless monochromaticism, bursting into bouts of painful frustration, over being stuck next to a deep black pool of sadness and helplessness. “Αλφα Κενταυρου” sounds like a nervy Sci-fi journey cast in danger and disconnection. The dismal and buzzing relentlessly pulsing lonesome groove of “Alexandria” closes down the tour de force of unescapable alienation and existential chill (dread) with glimpses of emotive melancholia.
