WL//WH Video Of The Day : KOMRADS “Control”

Video Of The Day

Komrads long anticipated self-released album “Resistor”produced and engineered by Joshua Pettinger (Acid Mothers Temple, Oneida), has finally been released at the end of May, merging 80’s darkwave and synth-pop elements with industrial undertones.

Hailing from Rochester, New York, Zach James Burnett (synth, programming, and vocals), “Jazz Bass” Jesse Hellstead (bass guitar and vocals) and Joe Sexton (lighting technician) have put together a new video for the third track “Control” that is sure to entertain. Unrelenting rythms of filthy driven bass lines and pounding drum beats kick out from the beginning. Interwoven with hypnotic synth hooks and filtered irate, frustrated, hate filled vocals about someone fighting to stay in control of a relationship that is spinning out of control. Despite seeing only the negative things in each other, they still, fight, complain, and have the hate and passion only those in love can have. The video compliments this out of control feeling with flashing lights, and facial expressions that reflect someone who is not quite in harmony with their surroundings.

Keep up with Komrads :
