Stratford Upon Avon‘s elusive solo project, with a mouthful of a name, keeps on experimenting with atmospheric reverb-drenched fuzzed-up guitar soundscapes, while adding new instrumental hues to his sonic palette, delivering this time his first instrumental piece. Folksy evocative arpeggiated tragedies weave immersive textures of driving, wistful guitar strings, hard-hitting drum rolls and crashing cymbals with organic pulsing bass lines, carrying urgent emotional moods into a key exchange with brittle and numb piano notes, to transform the beautiful stirring melodies into an intense quivering, sparkling nostalgic end.
