PICKS OF THE WEEK:

  • TREMOLO: 2025 Playlist

Once again, WL//WH is thrilled to support Seattle‘s  Tremolo Fest 2025, three nights of electrifying music with incredible bands on September 25-27. Tickets are already on pre-sale, just follow this link.

  • Toronto, Ontario lo-fi /post-rock /dreampop /shoegaze solo project of musician Charlie Berger (With Hidden Noise, Tonemirror, Dormer, Slow Planet), Slowly “In Between” first single from the upcoming LP “North Shore”

Slowly‘s first teaser from the upcoming LP ventures into the earnest emotionality of dreamy, wistful vocals, full of vibrant life, coasting in hazy, fuzzy clouds woven by forlorn guitar riffs awash with thick swelling reverb and glinting high tones, stirred by stumbling drum beats, to sway through a deep sense of disconnection and feelings of abandonment.

  • Norwegian-German pop duo J.O. Åleskjær and Seb Voss, aka Herr Wade “Santa Franziska”, 2nd single from the forthcoming album “The Opposite of C007” [Bureau Platiruma!!!]

The dynamic Norwegian-German duo with a fine penchant for ceaselessly reinventing the tones, colors and registers of their sound palette without ever compromising their signature melodic quality, drop a ‘Kraut-Gaze’ second excerpt from the upcoming LP, propelled by a swift motorik-inflected drive, along with elastic humming bass pulses, shrouded in swells of shivering fluid keyboards and sparkling guitar lines to surround excited, secretive vocals, layered with soaring high devotional comfort, with intoxicating swings of love.

  • Melbourne dream pop / indie rock band Convenience Store “I Wanna Be Your Dancer” second single from debut LP “Tabis”

Although active since around 2018 as a bedroom art rock duo with several singles under their belt, the Melbourne-based outfit is finally on the verge of releasing the long-awaited debut album next September. The second foretaste is a vibrant, exhilarating, breezy slice of jangly mid-tempo dream pop, winding on the wistful rippling melodies of shimmering stringed guitar riffs to delve into the stirring corners of achingly sentimental vocals, wrecked by lovelorn yearning.
