Debut 80s inspired, both catchy and depressing debut single, in the vein of Sad Lovers And Giants, from a new Berlin-based trio looking for “The Cure” to wind sad meandering textures through an intoxicating entanglement of obsessive wandering glistening guitar melodies and airy wistful synth washes, to destroy emotional vocals with arousing anger and pent-up frustration from relentless pulsing layers of failed destiny.

• Nancy, France Cold Oi! trio RANCŒUR “Rancœur” from upcoming debut EP “Sur Le Fil Du Rasoir”
  

Cold Oi! unlike the 80s skins Blitz, Nancy‘s trio does not add synthesizers and shadowy introspection, albeit dark and intrusive bass throbs and hypnotic effect-laden blaring guitars, while the rousing attitude, the shouted banging chorus, the boisterous and razor-sharp sound foundation remain uncompromisingly punk/Oi!. Haunting and gloomy melodic wavelengths spread from a snaky and chugging bassline menace under shocks of abrasive metallic bursts, obsessive raucous jagged riffs, whirling, pounding drum rolls, and caustic screams of “Bitterness”, to awaken lost dreams and fearful slants from an idle slumber of despair.

Brand new moniker, The King Died Young, taken from the title of a recent song, for the Lo-fi, Minimal, and Occult Dark Wave one-man man project based in Monterrey, formerly known as Qgeko. The philosophical named, synth-laden new single explores dangerous deadened domains, lit in the dull neon lights of crushed icy bright stabs, withering away underneath the flashing reverb charged flicker of static buzzing lust to engulf distorted and agonized vocals, grasping desperately for the warm swirling bright rays of hope, in a joyless ride of misery and despair.
