New arrival in the Tonn Recordings roster, carrying cold and introspective gothic-tinged synth-laden soundscapes, with an enigmatic and enveloping allure, quite unfamiliar for the Belfast based label. Ruthless and mechanical rhythms, icy bright spatial synthesizers along swirling, tinkling drones, equally enveloping and sharp, uncanny piano notes, and swelling glooms of bass and guitar, insinuate an almost overwhelming obsessive angst and dread, while the warm heartfelt melancholy and the evocative haunting tone of ghostly vocals enhance the deepness of the words and cast a unique sonic spell.

First tribal and esoteric single for the Belgian musician dealing with the awakening of the soul, lead by driving, crispy and hypnotic percussive bongo patterns, cut by ominous pinpoint bass throbs, that echo, twang and stretch through the mix, while sharply chiming glaring synth flows and sparse eerie deep brass-like strains, swirl atop earnest and gravelly vocals’ moulting slurry echoes, releasing breathless fears into a sparkling flurry from the sands of time.

The Dutch quartet returns with an atmospheric and suffering new single channelling clear 80’s dark post-punk vibes, with a vocal timbre not too far from that of Robert Smith, to elicit ripples of fearful regret that emerge stoically from penetrating glowing tears of reverb-instilled guitar melodies wandering in shimmering achingly melodic ups and downs of pain, together with slowly enveloping, elegiac airy synth washes, to draw hollow, angsty doubt from submerged harsh vocalizations, dwelling in the haunted fears of past shame.
