- Montreal, Canada coldwave /minimal synth solo project NO “Unreliable Narrator”
Popped up for now on Soundcloud only, hopefully part of a juicier near future release, the new track from Montreal based one man band unleashes punchy hypnotic beats, insistent treacherous droning bass lines, and eerie, lonesome swirling synth swathes, stabbed by resonant thwacks and clanking dimensions, to infuse dark dangerous emotional premonitions over desperate haunted vocals casting psychological lyrics about shame, secrecy, and discontent into a toxic obsession of revealing drama. No hardly disappoints.

80s-tinged dark and melancholic combination of soul-stirring effect-laden post-punk guitar epics with gloomy darkwave ambience, veiled in shadowy mercurial moods, bounces through rippling dancing bass lines, sharpened by piercing layers of echoing guitar melodies and swirling forlorn swells of synths, around tormented melancholic vocals, woefully swaying with hopeless dread.
