• Columbus, Indiana post-punk /coldwave solo project Into Grey “Low” (Single)
  

Indiana one-man band’s new single shows increasingly poignant and refined songwriting and a strikingly vibrant and deep voice. An alienating nocturnal mesh of glistening guitar melodies weave a dark and nostalgic vibe that gradually sharpens the tension through the ominous doom of throbbing bass lines, whilst powerfully haunted baritone vocals evoke shattered dreams and distant tears into a tumultuous grinding guitar lead finale of shredded fear.

Born as an uncertain experiment, at the end “Angst/Fear” is one of the strongest and sharpest songs so far from the German ‘Kalte Deutsche Welle’ solo project. Claustrophobic male vocals release atmospheric breaths of restless and somber baritone dejected emotions through a noisy sparkling simmer of droning bassline and sharp searing guitar riffs, while wicked English/German lyrics evoke a persuasive stark and desolate wasteland of “Angst/Fear.”

Stark slashing snare beats ignite the wicked-charged danger of ominously chugging and rumbling bass lines stabbed by icy glowing synth swirls, throbbing and rumbling into a tumultuous tide of darkness and allure to surround layered male vocals, harsh whispers, distorted growls, amid a dire witchy jagged interlude of jagged guitar riffs, to fall into treacherous realms of supernatural lore.
