The UK-based electronic music duo return after a long while, deftly implementing stark compactness and harsh abrasiveness through an ‘edge of the seat’ scorching vortex of industrial-stained clattering drum programming and whirling acid-edged bass lines drilling relentlessly, with a corrosive bite, around reckless and detached dual vocals, left screamingly falling through an abysmal hole in the road. Mexican band delivers an entrancing mid-tempo new single rife with nostalgic, gloomy 80s tinged post-punk ambience, through a sinister layering of chilly, twangy, poignant guitar melodies and intense, eerie synth wails that exude spectral tones around soul-stirring, forsaken male vocals, emotionally longing before plunging into an intoxicating nocturnal haze of disconnection.
