- Berlin‘s darkwave/synthwave/’wave triste’ project of former half of Monowelt, Marta Raya “Vivid Dreams” from the sophomore album “Reflection”
Last year’s debut from Polish-born dark chanteuse Marta Raya was the album I listened to most frequently and highly enjoy from the genre, the new collection of fascinating and obscure synth-infused jams oscillating from introspective yet danceable, sinister yet sensual darkwave moods will share arguably the same fate. Splendid from beginning to end.

Prolific Russian outfit keep on churning out albums, their 4th in not even 2 years, seven brand new tracks of both retro and modern hybrid of bleak post-punk and minimalistic synth-pop made of bouncing basslines, pulsating dance-inducing rhythms, sparkling vintage-synth hooks and piercing post-punkish guitar riffs that reveal the band’s at their strongest and most focused to date.
