One of our favorite free-form dark electronic projects lands at fellow industrial techno label Lux Rec., albeit with distinct coldwave and post-punk leanings, unveiling a kraut-infused synth-driven jam with oblique mechanical synth strains relentlessly bubble over humming droning low ends, while anxious, animated atmospheric male vocals switch to distant repetitive obsessions and organic emotional cries with motorik beats kicking in midway along with warbling bass line oscillations to create a sentient urgency around the adamant lyrics, “Hold me one more time.”

Featured in of one my most cherished interviews at the time of their sophomore LP, since the beginning in 2014 London foursome has always been able to reinvent itself very naturally and effectively, teetering between indie rock and post-punk, amidst rich and vibrant guitar intricacy, sparkling and powerful rhythms seamlessly sharpened by Jo Bevan’s strong and gripping, impassioned nuanced vocalizations laced with soulful and sincere lyrics.
The brand new single is centered on ceaselessly rumbling murky bass grooves, driven by vibrant off-tempo drums, whilst joe’s heartfelt vocals soar and dive in breathless emotions with jarring, droning guitar reverb and fluttering twisting distortions, to create a hypnotic urgency of tumultuous passions.

A song already circulating a couple of years ago by an elusive band from Oregon, re-proposed once again in a demo version, here in its best sparkly version stuttering between darkwave rhythms and shoegaze reverberations, fusing heart-palpitating beats and dangerous bass throbs, bouncing under the shimmering melodies of glistening guitar lines while distant distressed vocals struggle and gasp anxiously amidst the obsessively piercing icy bright twinkling bursts of light.
