The solo project from Uzbekistan returns to life in the new year, and it was worth it, to introject a chilly enveloping slab of shadowy, misty, brooding Witch-House-infused Darkwave, hypnotically marching on punchy beats, ominous undulating and buzzing low-ends, uncanny twinkly stabs along with flourishing glaring synth drama, swirling over haunted ghostly vocals, lost in mental suffering, with cold distorted obsession.

Another welcome return, the Austin-based one-man band’s single embodies the feeling of never being trusted, ‘Ever Again’, throbbing along urgent, murky, droning strains of bleeding pain, to hypnotically flow, heightened by swirling icy synths, on stacked marching percussions and limber humming bass lines, to wash haunted shame-filled broods and nervous spoken words with eerie and obsessive piercing guitar-melodies of endless blame.

The first single by the Danish trio, after last year’s well-received debut LP, depicts a haunting, ceremonial, and spectral realm swept by spooky howling and swirling synths, punctuated by deep bleak melodies weaved by a humming plaintive bassline and skipping clashing beats, to enshroud mournful baritone vocals in ominous atmospherics, representing life’s fragility and the emptiness of grief.
